Abstract:
PURPOSE: To speedily generate a reference signal required to control an engine noise by generating a sine wave signal according to an ignition pulse signal and a triangular wave signal generated from the ignition pulse signal.
CONSTITUTION: The output signal of the ignition pulse detector 4 of a reference signal output device 3 is passed through a waveform shaper 5 and integrated by an integrator 6 to generate the triangular wave signal, which is digitized and inputted to a reference signal generator 8. The mean effective value of the triangular wave signal is calculated by the rectifier 9 and smoothing circuit 10 of the reference signal generator 8 and a divider 11 divides the triangular wave signal by the mean effective value to adjust the triangular wave signal to a constant amplitude. Further, a multiplier 13 multipliers the triangular wave signal outputted by the divider 11 by the signal from the waveform shaper 5 to generate a saw-tooth wave signal. This saw-tooth wave signal is utilized as information showing an angle which is an integral multiple of the angle of rotation of an engine and a sine wave generator 14 generates a sine wave signal according to the information.
