To provide a noise insulation-type engine generating system of low noise in comparison with a conventional one, in the noise insulation-type engine generating system A comprising a generator 1, an engine 2 for driving the generator 1 and a noise insulation cover 3 covering the engine, and a noise insulating material 4 is attached to a wall face of the noise insulation cover 3.
A noise insulating plate 8 composed of a material having an apparent density of 1000 kg/m3 or more is held in the noise insulating material 4. A metallic plate is preferably used as the noise insulating plate 8, and more preferably mainly composed of aluminium. The noise insulating plate 8 is preferably held on a position of a depth of 1 cm of more from a surface of the noise insulating material 4 and separated from the wall face of the noise insulating cover 3 by 2 cm or more. A thickness of the noise insulating material 4 is preferably 3 cm-10 cm, and its apparent density is preferably 45-95 kg/m3.
