Abstract:
To provide a noise reduction device that adaptively detects unsteady noise and effectively suppresses precision deterioration of reduction processing on the unsteady noise.SOLUTION: In a noise reduction system 5, a noise reduction device 10 comprises: a signal processing unit 21 which converts a noise signal picked up by a noise microphone 30 arranged in a control space into a noise signal in a frequency range; a holding unit 22 which holds the noise signal of the frequency range as a reference signal; an adaptive filter convolution unit 11 which generates a noise reduction signal for reducing the noise signal picked up by the noise microphone 30; and an adaptive update unit 12 which updates a filter coefficient when noise picked up by the noise microphone and an error microphone 40 is steady noise. The signal processing unit 21 uses frequency characteristics of the noise signal and frequency characteristics of the reference signal to determine whether the noise signal is an unsteady noise, and makes the adaptive filter update unit stop updating a filter coefficient corresponding to the determined noise signal when it is determined that the noise signal is the unsteady noise.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
