Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out noise reduction control generating reverse phase sound according to a position of a noise source.SOLUTION: A noise reduction system 1 includes: a plurality of noise reduction units 10 with microphones 4 for detecting noise and speakers 5 for generating reverse phase sound according to wavelength of the noise detected by the microphones 4; and a noise control device 6 for controlling so that the reverse phase sound is generated from the speakers 5 on the basis of wave lengths detected by the microphones 4. A pair of noise reduction units 10A, 10B are arranged along one direction arranged with spacing, the noise control device 6 calculates the distance between the respective microphones 4 and a vehicle 2 on the basis of the wave lengths detected by adjacent microphones 4; having control carried out generating the reverse phase noise corresponding to the wave length detected by the microphone 4 from the speaker 5 of the noise reduction unit 10 when the difference in those distances is within a range which is a prescribed value or less.
