Abstract:

To provide a noise suppression device and noise suppression method based on a Kalman filter, which do not need estimation on AR (autoregressive) coefficient, are simple and which have high noise suppression capability.

A noise suppression processing part 150 incorporates a Kalman filter that does not use AR coefficient. The conventional method uses linear prediction to estimate an AR coefficient, and subsequently uses the result to execute the Kalman filter, to thereby achieve noise suppression. Whereas this method uses only a clear signal from a signal source, to form an equation of state to thereby achieve noise suppression using only the Kalman filter, and forms observation equation by using the clear signal and an additional noise signal, to thereby realize high noise suppression.
