Abstract:
To provide a noise suppressor capable of sufficiently reducing noise including several frequencies and also attaining a saving in space as well as facilitating adjustment of frequency that is desired to be depressed in sound and also restricting deterioration of ventilation resistance at an intake passage.MEANS: This invention relates to a noise suppressor having a resonator body with a constant volume and a communication pipe communicating between said resonator body and an intake passage of an internal combustion engine. The resonator body comprises two or more branched resonant chambers branched from the communication pipe. The communication pipe comprises a connection port connected to the intake passage and a branch pipe branched to each of the two or more branched resonant chambers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
