Abstract:
To provide a dispersant in which dispersion failure due to incompatibility when changing combination of additives is unlikely to occur, and which can give dispersibility and thixotropy.SOLUTION: A non-aqueous dispersant comprises a copolymer of monomers (a) and (b), a composition ratio ((a):(b)) of the monomer (a) and the monomer (b) is 40:60 to 90:10 in mol%, and a weight average molecular weight of the copolymer is 5,000 to 50,000. The monomer (a) is a polyoxyalkylene derivative represented by formula (1): R1O(AO)nR2(1) (R1 represents a hydrocarbon group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 represents an unsaturated hydrocarbon group with 3 to 4 carbon atoms having one double bond, AO represents one or more kinds of oxyalkylene group with 2 to 3 carbon atoms, n is an average number of added moles of oxyalkylene group, and represents a real number of 1 to 100), and the monomer (b) is N-substituted maleimide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
