Abstract:
To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage element and a power storage device which enable the suppression of the increase in resistance at low temperature accompanying a charge/discharge cycle.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte power storage element comprises: an electrode body 2 in which negative and positive electrodes are laminated through a separator; a nonaqueous electrolyte; and a container 3 which contains the electrode body 2. The container 3 receives a pressure in a thickness direction of the electrode body 2. The separator has an inorganic particle layer. The positive electrode has a positive electrode active material layer containing a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material layer is laminated on the inorganic particle layer. The positive electrode active material includes a transition metal oxide. In a lamination plane of the positive electrode active material layer with the inorganic particle layer, the percentage of elements forming the positive electrode active material to all of elements is smaller than 38 atom%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
