Abstract:
To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of exhibiting excellent output characteristics by reducing the internal resistance of a battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an electrode including a collector and an electrode active material layer arranged on a surface of the collector, the electrode active material layer containing an electrode active material and a gel-forming polymer; and an electrolyte layer arranged between the electrodes, the electrolyte layer comprising a separator impregnated with an electrolyte. When x [m] represents a pore volume per 1 mof the electrode, y [m] represents a volume of a gel-forming polymer contained per 1 mof the electrode, and z [%] represents a liquid-absorption rate of a gel-forming polymer with respect to the electrolyte, 0.30≤yz/x≤1.06 is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: None
