Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a non-asbestos friction material having high μ-value, capable of keeping stable and excellent fading resistance and exhibiting good abrasion resistance and squeaking property.
CONSTITUTION: Vermiculite or resin-coated vermiculite is used as a part of a friction material containing a fiber component other than asbestos, a thermosetting resin component such as phenolic resin and a filler component such as graphite and barium sulfate.
