Abstract:
To provide a non-contact aerial operation faucet that has a high degree of freedom in design requiring no change in the number and positions of detection devices in accordance with the number and positions of operation units even when the number and the positions of the plurality of operation units are changed corresponded with a plurality of motions.SOLUTION: A non-contact aerial operation faucet includes: a faucet unit 50 for performing a plurality of motions including water discharge and water cut-off; a liquid crystal display 11 having a planar real operation surface 11a on which a plurality of operation units 20 that indicate each of the plurality of motions of the faucet unit 50 are arranged in different areas; a virtual image display device 12 for imaging and displaying a virtual image operation surface 13 that is a virtual image of the real operation surface 11a in air; a position detection sensor 15 for detecting an operation input position where a user operates the virtual image operation surface 13; and a control unit 30 for controlling the motions of the faucet unit 50 by determining that the operation unit 20 of the real operation surface 11a corresponding to the operation input position of the virtual image operation surface 13 detected by the position detection sensor 15 is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
