Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-contact eddy current type damping equipment for vehicle where delay of pressure increasing time of oil pressure or air pressure of conventional braking equipment, wearing of a brake pad, reducing of braking force at the time of high speed running, etc., are canceled.
SOLUTION: This non-contact eddy current type damping equipment for vehicle is constituted of iron cores 1, which are installed in the vicinity of a brake disk 4 inside a wheel of a vehicle, at intervals of 90° and form electromagnets with wound coils 2, a measuring apparatus 6 measuring the number of revolution of a wheel, a control part 7 which receives the number of revolution of the measuring apparatus 6, calculates a DC or an AC controlling current, on the basis of a velocity and transmits a proper control current input value to the coils 2 of the iron cores 1 and a current amplifier 8 for supplying a control current input value from the control part 7 or a current input value due to a brake pedal 9 to the respective coils 2.
