Abstract:
To provide a non-contact operating device that effectively prevents a load from malfunctioning due to simultaneous detection of proximity of a detection target by a plurality of detection units.SOLUTION: A non-contact operating device according to an embodiment includes a drive circuit, a detection unit, and a control unit. The drive circuit is configured in one of a plurality of switchable drive states, and changes a state of supplying power to a load when the drive state is switched. The detection unit includes a light emitting unit that emits infrared rays and a light receiving unit that can receive infrared rays reflected by a detection target. The control unit switches the drive state of the drive circuit on the basis of an event that the light receiving unit receives the infrared rays of a light emitting pattern emitted by the light emitting unit, and maintains the drive state of the drive circuit when receiving infrared light with a light emitting pattern different from the light emitting pattern of the light emitting unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
