Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power supply method that enables more accurate foreign object detection or improves communication.SOLUTION: The invention allows a portable apparatus containing a power receiving coil to be set on a power supply stand comprising a power transmitting coil, electromagnetically couples the power receiving coil of the portable apparatus with the power transmitting coil of the power supply stand to feed power from the power transmitting coil to the power receiving coil by an electromagnetic induction action, and determines whether a signal or power is properly transmitted from the power supply stand to the portable apparatus.
