A non contact power transmission apparatus 1 transmits electric power between a power supply coil L1 and a power reception coil L2 in a non contact manner and includes: a power supply part 13 supplying the electric power to the power supply coil L1; a measurement part 14 measuring a position of the power reception coil L2 relative to the power supply coil L1; and a control part 15 controlling the power supply part 13. The control part 15 changes electric power so that an induction current flowing through the metal member M becomes smaller according to the relative position measured by the measurement part 14.
