Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the weight and power consumption of the title device by providing a driving-side magnetic torque coupling, autorotation controlling turning on/off means, and a stopper which rotates a rotating shaft and the driving-side magnetic torque coupling in an integrated state.

CONSTITUTION: When a drive motor 2 is rotated in the normal direction, the autorotation of a driving-side magnetic torque coupling 3 is controlled by means of autorotation control turning on/off means 13, 15, and 16 and the coupling 3 advances towards a driven-side magnetic torque coupling 4. When the coupling 3 advances and approaches the coupling 4, the means 13, 15, and 16 release the coupling 3 from the autorotation-controlled state. Thereafter, the forward movement of the coupling 3 is controlled and the coupling 3 rotates together with a rotating shaft 5 in an integrated state. As a result, the torque of the coupling 3 is transmitted to the coupling 4 in a non-contact state by means of a magnetic force. Therefore, this non-contact torque transmitting device can be reduced in weight and power consumption.
