Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of flaw due to interposing impurity in a hot dipping bath vessel between a strip and a roll in hot-dip coating.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of changing the direction of the strip in the hot dipping bath vessel, molten metal fluid giving a circular force from plural positions of the roll or a semicylindrical chamber surface is injected toward the strip. By this method, the strip is stably passed without contacting with the chamber and the flaw generated due to interposing the impurity between the strip and the roll can drastically be reduced.
