Abstract:
To divide a pipe into pipe members of various kinds of lengths by optimization so that a rear end part of the pipe to be an end material may be used for a cut pipe member of a length suitable for an other order.
By a rotary cutting head 4 provided with at least a sharp edge cutting wheel 5 pressed toward a rotary center shaft A according to rotation of the rotary cutting head 4, a pipe or a shaft is cut. In order to minimize an end material, a distance (m) of grasping clamps 6, 7 existing on both sides of a cutting point is reduced as much as possible, preferably, to about 50 mm or below. In order to reduce the end material, also an automatic adjustment of a feeding length of a cutting object pipe 1 is required.
