Abstract:
To provide a nonflammable wood-based composite material that is lightweight and can obtain a wood-based texture, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a nonflammable wood-based composite material 1 that comprises: a first wood-based material 2 having a thickness in a range of 2 to 4 mm and containing a flame-retardant agent; an inorganic base material 3 or a second wood-based material 3; and an adhesive layer 4 interposed between the first wood-based material 2 and the inorganic base material 3 or the second wood-based material 3. The flame retardant contains a first compound having a hydroxy group, and the adhesive layer consists of an adhesive agent containing a second compound having a hydroxy group or an aqueous material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
