Abstract:
To provide a flame-retardant material capable of being easily extruded or molded, without containing a halogenated compound nor a metal oxide.
A flame-retardant composition contains a polymer base material, the non-halogenated flame-retardant material, and a synergist which exists in a concentration about 1 wt% in the composition and does not substantially contain the metal oxide, wherein the composition achieves at least the UL combustibility rating of V-2, when tested under the UL test condition.
