To obtain the subject composition having high adhesive strength to the substrate in application work, free from peeling trouble in use and enabling easy renewing work by specifying the mechanical strength of a polyurethane resin coating film and the Tg of an emulsion resin.

This composition contains (A) a water-based polyurethane resin, (B) one or more kinds of polymer emulsions selected from acrylic resin emulsion, acryl-styrene copolymer resin emulsion, acryl-vinyl acetate copolymer resin emulsion, vinyl acetate resin emulsion, ethylene-vinyl acetate resin emulsion, SBR latex and NBR latex and preferably further (C) a polyolefin dispersion. The 100% modulus of the component A is ≤100kgf/cm2 and the Tg of the component B is -20 to +40°C.
