Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unburnt carbon and a chloride from being stored at a fluidized bed, in a fluidized bed gasifying furnace. SOLUTION: A solid combustible substance is supplied in a fluidized bed gasifying furnace 40 for gasification. Unburnt gas containing unburnt ash is introduced in a cyclone 50 from a free board 48, unburnt ash is collected from unburnt gas, and collected unburnt ash is burnt by a recombustion furnace 58. In a method described above, by increasing an injection speed of gas through the gas dispersion nozzle of the fluidized bed gasifying furnace 40, pulverization of a flow medium containing unburnt carbon and a chloride is promoted. Unburnt ash containing pulverized unburnt carbon and a chloride is introduced to a cyclone 50 togetherwith unburnt gas, unburnt ash containing collected unburnt carbon and chloride is introduced to a desalting device 54 to remove the chloride, and unburnt ash containing unburnt carbon is re-burnt by a recombustion furnace 58.
