Title:
NON-INVASIVE TEMPERATURE MEASURING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06142060
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a non-invasion temperature measuring apparatus excellent in reliability which enables proper measurement without being affected by adhesion between a probe (containing an antenna) and an object to be measured.

CONSTITUTION: Sensitivity of a radio meter 7 is measured in a calibration mode and a measurement mode and a power reflection factor R on an interface between an antenna 4 and an organism 1 in the measurement mode is determined using the sensitivities measured and further, a power reflection factor Rw known previously on the interface between the antenna 4 and a liquid in a water tank 13. The power reflection factor R determined is compared with the power reflection factor Rw known previously to judge the propriety of the measurement. The results of the judgment are reported.
