Abstract:
To provide a non-linear dielectric element in which deterioration of the non-linear property is less likely to be generated and which is capable of obtaining a large pulse voltage, excellent in insulation capability, and easy to manufacture.
In a non-linear dielectric element 1 presenting hysteresis in an electric field-charge property, first and second electrodes 3 and 4 are formed on both sides of a dielectric ceramic element assembly 2 presenting a nonlinear property, and insulation layers 5 and 6 are formed to cover the vicinity of outer peripheral edges of the first and the second electrodes 3 and 4, with the insulation layers 5 and 6 being made of ceramics.
