Abstract:

To provide a non-oriented magnetic steel sheet having little deterioration of iron loss even in a state where compressive stress works and a stress distribution is produced in the compressive stress.

In this non-oriented magnetic steel sheet 1 used in an environment in which the compressive stress works, at least one linear groove 21 is provided so as to relieve the compressive stress on at least one side of a region where the compressive stress at least enough to influence the iron loss works. Thereby, hysteresis loss, which is greatly influenced by deformation due to stress, in iron loss characteristics, is reduced by widening an allowable width of a volumetric change due to magnetostriction, and iron loss is reduced.
