PURPOSE: To separate a wattmeter from an electric circuit without generating power failure of load at the time of replacement construction work, by mounting fixed contact pieces A, B to one surface of an insulating support plate having a piercing hole in opposed relationship so as to be symmetric to the axis of the piercing hole.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of a usual use time, movable contact makers 4, 9 are preliminarily inserted in the positions forming a continuity state only between fixed contact pieces A1, B2 and A'6, B'7 without contacting the insulating parts 4a, 9a thereof with fixed contact pieces B2, B'7. At the time of the changing-over to a replacement state, the movable contact makers 4, 9 are deeply inserted. On the way of insert, all of fixed contact pieces A1, B2, C3, D10 are mutually brought to a continuity state in such a state that the leading end part of a movable contact maker 4 is contacted with fixed contact pieces C3, CD. Therefore, a current is always supplied to load and the temporary power failure of load can be prevented.
