Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-reciprocal circuit element which is reducible in arrangement space when single-plate type capacitors are adopted and complies with the demands for smaller size and lighter weight.
SOLUTION: An isolator 1 (non-reciprocal circuit element) constituted by arranging center electrodes 13 to 15 on a ferrite applied with a DC magnetic field by a permanent magnet 6 and connecting matching capacitors to the ports P1 to P3 of the center electrodes 13 to 15 uses as the matching capacitor couples of single-plate type capacitors C1a to C3a, and C1b to C3b having electrodes formed entirely on both the main surfaces of a dielectric substrate across the substrate, and the single-plate type capacitors C1a to C3a, and C1b to C3b are arranged obliquely at an angle of 60 to 90± to their mount surface.
