Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-refining type nitrided crankshaft having high flexure fatigue strength with 700 MPa or more and efficient flexure correction property, and excellent in peeling resistance of a compound layer.SOLUTION: There is provided a non-refining type nitrided crankshaft containing C:0.25 to 0.60%, Si:0.10 to 1.0%, Mn:0.60 to 2.0%, P≤0.08%, S≤0.10%, Cr:0.20 to 1.0% and N:0.0030 to 0.0250%, one or more kind of Cu, Ni, Mo, V, Ti and Ca and the balance Fe with impurities and satisfying [40-C+2Mn+5.5Cr≥43.0], and having HV hardness of 0.05 mm position of depth from a surface of 380 to 600, and depth of the compound layer of at least a pin fillet part, a journal fillet part and a pin part of 5 μm or less.
