Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent deformation of the lock device of a housing type rear seat, so as to improve the appearance.
CONSTITUTION: In a housing type rear seat in which a seat back is laid down forward and folded down on a seat cushion, a dish shaped base 15 is fitted to the back of the seat back. A knob 4 is slidably fitted to the base 15, the knobe 4 is in cooperation with the lock mechanism of the seat back 1, slits 51 are provided on the opposed side walls of the base 15 in parallel with the sliding direction of the knob 4, and a pin 53 pentrating through the knob 4 is slidably engaged with the slits 51.
