Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-woven fabric which can manufacture an FRP compact remarkably superior in mechanical characteristics such as flexural strength and bending modulus though polypropylene-based resin is used as a matrix resin, and the FRP compact that the non-woven fabric is heated and pressed.SOLUTION: A non-woven fabric containing acid modification polyolefin fiber 10 and reinforcer, and the reinforcer is fiber that reinforced fiber (B) is carbon fiber and sizing agent consisting of polyvinylpyrrolidone stick to the surface of the reinforced fiber (B). When the non-woven fabric contains polyvinyl alcohol, an FRP compact further superior in mechanical characteristic can be manufactured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
