Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the subject goods excellent in adsorption properties and porosity by blending recovered waste fibers with a polyolefinic polymer fiber cotton, heating the blended material at a high temperature, subsequently performing a needle punching work and carrying out compression molding.
CONSTITUTION: Recovered waste fibers (regenerated fibers) are blended with a polyolefinic polymer fiber cotton followed by heat treatment at 140-160°C. The heat treated fibers are subjected to needle punching by using a needle punching machine, etc., and is then sujbected to compression molding, thus obtaining the objective waste goods capable of efficiently absorbing oil stains.
