Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition that has a cleaning effect equivalent to that of a chlorofluorocarbon type cleaning composition, is good in safety as an aqueous composition which does not cause environmental destruction and environmental pollution, and can replace a chlorofluorocarbon type cleaning agent by compatibilizing a cyclic polysiloxane, a surface-active agent, and a hydrophilic solvent without incorporating water.
SOLUTION: This cleaning composition is a composition which comprises 100 pts.wt. cyclic polyorganosiloxane denoted by the formula, 20 pts.wt. or less at least one surface-active agent selected from among anionic surface-active agents, cationic surface-active agents, amphoteric surface-active agents, and nonionic surface-active agents, and 100 pts.wt. or less hydrophilic solvent and wherein the cyclic polyorganosiloxane, the surface-active agent, and the hydrophilic solvent are compatibilized, and water is not contained. Objects that will be cleaned with an aqueous cleaning agent of this composition include industrial parts having hard surfaces made, for example, of metals, ceramics, or plastics.
