PURPOSE: To enable the large current discharge of a nonaqueous electrolyte accumulator and obtain the accumulator of large capacity and high quality having a long cycle lifetime by using an electrolyte between the normal positive and negative electrodes of the accumulator and branching the short circuit of current due to the contact of both electrodes via a separator.
CONSTITUTION: A stainless steel positive electrode plate 2 as the positive collector of a nonaqueous accumulator in common and a negative electrode plate 1 are integrated with each other using a conductive adhesive material. Furthermore, a negative electrode 3 is pressed to a stainless steel mesh 4 and this mesh 4 is spot welded to a stainless steel negative electrode plate 5. Also, an electrolyte is impregnated into a separator 6 comprising a propylene porous material and sealed with a sealing material of resin quality. Furthermore, the capacity of the positive electrode per unit area is kept equal to or less than 7 mAH/cm2 and the shortcircuit of current due to the contact of the positive and negative electrodes is prevented with the separator 6, thereby enabling the large current discharge of the accumulator and obtaining the accumulator of high quality having large capacity and long cycle lifetime.
