Abstract:

To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte suppressing deterioration of characteristics and generation of gas at the time of high-temperature preservation and a secondary battery using the nonaqueous electrolyte.

The nonaqueous electrolyte comprises an electrolyte and a nonaqueous solvent, and contains a cyclic phosphite compound 0.001-5 mass% in the nonaqueous electrolyte solution, and preferably, the cyclic phosphite compound is a compound containing fluorine. More preferably, it contains further a cyclic carbonate compound having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond, a cyclic carbonate compound having fluorine atom, and at least one kind of compound selected from a group of monofluoro phosphate and difluorophosphate. A nonaqueous electrolyte battery using the same is provided.
