Abstract:
To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which allows an electrode body to be easily disassembled into an easily recyclable form, and a disassembling method thereof.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises an electrode body. The electrode body has a cathode having a cathode mixture layer, an anode having an anode mixture layer, a separator disposed between the cathode and the anode and a functional layer. The separator has a microporous film. The functional layer is provided between the electrode mixture layer and the microporous film so as to be in contact with at least one of the cathode mixture layer and the anode mixture layer. [A]The functional layer contains a binding resin and a degradable resin, and the electrode mixture layer contains a hardening resin, or [B] the functional layer contains a binding property resin and a hardening resin, and the electrode mixture layer contains a degradable resin. The degradable resin is a resin which can be broken down when being exposed to ionizing radiation. The hardening resin is a resin which is hardened when being exposed to ionizing radiation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
