Abstract:
To provide manufacturing methods of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and an electrode both with high reliability, which suppress physical internal short circuit caused by exposure of an electrode surface.
The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. A porous protection film is formed on at least one surface of the positive electrode and negative electrode. The porous protection film contains a binding agent, fine particles, and surfactant. A thickness of the porous protection film is 0.1-200 m. The fine particles contain at least one type of metal oxide selected from a group of alumina, titania, zirconia, and silica.
