Abstract:
To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of preventing the internal resistance of the battery from increasing, even when a charge-discharge cycle is executed at a high temperature by suppressing irreversible reaction in a negative electrode.
In this nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a saturated sulfocarboxylic acid anhydride or its derivative is contained in an electrolyte. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, saturated sulfocarboxylic acid anhydride is a sulfopropionic acid anhydride or its derivative and is contained in the electrolyte at 0.01-10 mM.
