Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which enables the increase in capacity-keeping rate.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode layer including a positive electrode active material and a conductive material; a negative electrode layer; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution provided between the positive and negative electrode layers. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, an upper limit voltage is 4.5 V or higher to an oxidation-reduction potential of lithium; and the surface of the conductive material is coated with a coating layer including, as main components, P, O, C and H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
