Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a positive electrode having high energy density and excellent in the cycle characteristic by using a composite active material of a conductive polymer material and an inorganic active material for a positive electrode active material, and specifying the weight average molecular weight of the conductive polymer material.
SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is constituted of a positive electrode, an electrolyte layer containing a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a negative electrode capable of storing and releasing lithium. A conductive polymer material having the weight average molecular weight Mw of 1×104-2×105 is used for a positive electrode active material. A composite material of the conductive polymer material having the dispersion ratio Mw/Mn of 1-4 and an inorganic active material is used for the positive electrode active material.
