Abstract:
To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with stable storage characteristics by using inexpensive, abundant resources for a positive active material.
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a positive electrode pellet 2 containing manganese oxide or a composite oxide of lithium and manganese, a negative electrode pellet 3 containing lithium metal, a lithium alloy, or a material capable of doping/undoping lithium, and a nonaqueous electrolyte prepared by dissolving an electrolyte in a nonaqueous solvent, and especially, the nonaqueous electrolyte contains an alkali metal fluoride.
