To provide excellent smoothness, and to pass a heat release test for a noncombustible material by laminating a magnesium silicate sheet to a metal foil, and further neutral paper in a noncombustible tape.
The noncombustible tape 1 is composed by successively laminating the neutral paper 6 which is a first layer, the aluminum foil 2 which is a second layer, the magnesium silicate sheet 3 which is a third layer, and an adhesive 4 for a tape which is a fourth layer, and has the extremely smooth surface. A layer of the metal foil 2 is provided on the surface of the magnesium silicate sheet 3 to block a combustible gas, and heat is dispersed with the aluminum foil 2 having excellent heat conductivity to provide resistance to even local heating. Furthermore, the heat conduction to the adhesive 4 for the tape is blocked with the magnesium silicate sheet 3 having small heat conductivity to suppress the evolution of the combustible gas. When the heat release test for the noncombustible material is carried out, the total calorific value is 4.0 MJ/m2, and the time for the maximum heat release rate to successively exceed 200 kW/m2 is 0 s. Thereby, success is achieved in the heat release test for the noncombustible material.
