This noncontact energy transmission system determines the value of a design parameter for maximizing the transmission efficiency calculated based on a material parameter related to materials of components constituting the power transmission circuit 2 and the power receiving circuit 3, and a design parameter related to the constitution of the components, for designing the noncontact energy transmission system which non-contactly transmits energy from a power transmission coil L1 provided in a power transmission circuit 1 to a power receiving coil L12 provided in a power receiving circuit 3, wherein the material parameter includes a core loss parameter related to at least one core loss out of the power transmission coil L1 or the receiving coil L12.
