Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide noncontact feeding equipment in which a moving unit is protected by the heat of a pickup coil.
SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive wire 51 which is composed of a pair of nonmagnetic conductors which are respectively covered with insulators which are softened at a predetermined temperature and twisted together and an insulating covering with which the twisted insulated conductors are covered 14 is laid along a pickup coil 22 which is fed from an induction line 14 in a noncontact manner. Respective one side ends of the pair of conductors are connected to both the ends of the pickup coil 22. If the temperature of the pickup coil 22 exceeds the predetermined temperature, the insulators of the heat-sensitive wire 51 are softened and the conductors are short-circuited and a closed circuit is composed of the conductors and the pickup coil 22. With this constitution, the closed circuit is formed by the heat of the pickup coil and the pickup coil 22 does not generate more heat and is protected from burning.
