Title:
NONCONTACT TYPE TAPE CUT DETECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10139282
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To accurately detect a tape cut even if the tape tail end behaves violently by the tape cut by positioning a detecting sensor so that the detecting object end in an extending outward condition at tape cut opening time of a detecting object body can be detected in a noncontact condition.

The detecting object end 6a in a detecting object body 6 is released from tensile force of a tape, and is extended outward by compressive resiliency of a spring (a compression spring 5), and the detecting object end 6a enters a detectable distance 7, and a photoelectric sensor 8 detects this, and the existence of a tape cut is detected. Therefore, since the photoelectric sensor 8 detects the detecting object end 6a surely extending outward by the tape cut, even if the tape end 9 behaves violently, the tape cut can be accurately detected. Since the detecting object end 6a can be detected until a flyer 1 rotates once after the tape cut is caused, a cut of a tape after the tape cut can be quickly detected, and it can also quickly cope with the tape cut.
