Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonferrous metal melting furnace in which a structure thereof is simple and facility expenditure therefor is also less-expensive and it shows a superior safety characteristic and melting heat efficiency.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a tower type melting furnace for melting nonferrous metal in which a connecting port 23 of a preheating tower 10 installed at an upper frontward location of a melting chamber 20 and a melting outlet 24 installed at a rear side lower part of the melting chamber 20 are connected by a substantial L-shaped moving passage 25 with a specified lateral width F at a floor surface, an acute slant surface 26 forming a front half part of the moving passage 25 and a low slant surface 27 communicated with the melting outlet and forming a rear half of the moving passage are connected through a connecting part 28, the acute slant surface and the lateral width F of the low slant surface are equal to an inner diameter E of the pre-heating tower and a plurality of melting burners 21 are installed at a downward slant ceiling part 29 opposing against the connecting part through the moving passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
