Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title container which itself is nontoxic and has water resistance, gas impermeability, lightness in weight and high strengths by molding a noninorganic composition comprising an animal or vegetable aggregate, a vegetable binder and water into a container and firing the container. CONSTITUTION:A noninorganic container is produced by molding a noninorganic composition comprising an animal aggregate such as egg shells or a vegetable aggregate such as rice hulls or reclaimed pulp, a vegetable binder such as flour, and water into a container and firing the container. The obtained container itself is nontoxic, has practical water resistance, gas impermeability, lightness is weight, high strengths and excellent properties as a food container or the like, can be easily decomposed in soil when discarded, does not pollute environments, and is excellent in the properties especially as a disposable food packaging container.
