Abstract:
To provide a noninvasive cornea and sclera/sclera reinforcement device using a presence of the endogenous riboflavin even if the riboflavin is not administered to eyes.SOLUTION: A noninvasive cornea and sclera/sclera reinforcement device using a presence of the endogenous riboflavin even if the riboflavin is not administered to eyes is not provided with a device or component for administering the riboflavin to the eyes, but is provided with a light source for applying a violet light acting on the endogenous riboflavin toward the eyes. The light source includes a control mechanism in which the irradiance of the violet light on the surface of eyes can be applied in a range of 0.01 to 3 mW/cm2 and can be applied by the irradiation time according to the irradiance.SELECTED DRAWING: None
