Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensively producible molded getter which enable the highly accurate removal of impurity gas components.
SOLUTION: A powdery mixture consisting of alloy powder having the average particle size of ≤60 μm and essentially consisting of Zr and Ti powder having the average particle size equal to or above that of the alloy powder is prepared in a ratio so that the content of Ti powder is controlled to 10 to 50 mass%. The powdery mixture is subjected to cold die molding by using a press to obtain a nonsintered molded getter.
