To provide a nonskid device for a shoe, which is suitable for fishing or climbing a gorge.
While a straw sandal base 1 is woven with the warp and the weft of a fiber, one end in the longitudinal direction of the straw sandal base 1 is set as the front thereof, with spaces formed around the right and left periphery toward the rear, and with a plurality of side rings 2 installed right and left in nearly symmetric positions. Around the front of the straw sandal base 1, a rather large loop 3 is formed and put in a raised state in a front upper area of the straw sandal base 1 by inserting a tightening strap 4 through the loop 3 into the right and left side rings 2. When the straw sandal is used, the toe of a shoe 7 with the foot therein is inserted between the straw sandal base 1 and the loop 3, and the right and left tightening straps 4 are crossed in the front of the ankle while being pulled up simultaneously. Then, the straps are put through respective tightening rings 5 and tied together in the front of the ankle, in using the nonskid straw sandal for a shoe.
