Title:
NONSLIP DEVICE FOR BELT-TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION AND BELT-TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION EQUIPPED WITH THE NONSLIP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004116598
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent in a simple structure a slip of an endless metallic belt of continuously variable transmission with respect to abrupt fluctuations in rotation speed received from a driving wheel.

A continuously variable transmission includes a pulley on an output side provided to an output shaft and an assist part for assisting hydraulic pressure to narrow the groove width of the pulley on the output side. The assist part contains a plate 1400 freely slidably provided in a direction perpendicular to the output shaft, and a ball accommodating part connected to a sheave secured to the output shaft. When the difference between rotation speeds of the plate 1400 and the ball accommodating part occurs, the plate 1400 slides in a direction perpendicular to the output shaft. A ball 1320 is abutted on an inclined surface of a cam 1410. The groove width of the pulley narrows by a force that the inclined surface 1410 presses the ball 1320.
